The common thing that my wife and I always experience when visiting another country either for holiday or business is that we either hate the country, indifferent about it or simply love it so much that we want to visit it again at the end of the trip. That was what we experienced with Costa Rica when we went there for our honeymoon about 5 years ago. Our Costa Rica honeymoon lasted for 3 weeks although it was initially planned for only 2 weeks. Reason being we had a lot of fun that we wanted to extend the trip so that we could see different parts of the country. We were in different parts of the country in our 3 weeks stay but the best place in my opinion was Montezuma Costa Rica. The town of Montezuma is located in the Nicoya Peninsula and it is a gateway to other nearby attractions such as Cabo Blanco nature reserve, Santa Teresa and Mal Pais beaches for one of the best surfing spots in the country. The Montezuma beach is also another fabulous place to relax or take a swim in the ocean as the waters here is calm. It is also less crowded especially if you go on a weekday but the weekend could be a bit crowded as the city folks flock to this town for the parties on the beach. The other great thing about Montezuma Costa Rica is the potential of the real estate market here. This place is less developed as compared to other tourist towns in Costa Rica so that makes the prices of properties here relatively cheaper. However many real estate companies have predicted that the development will pick up in the next 3-5 years as more and more investment are being channelled here especially in the tourism and restaurants business. Therefore if you have the money now, it is recommended that you start buying properties in town as well as the surrounding areas as you could make a handsome profit when you sell it off in the near future.
