I just got back from a business trip to Tokyo a couple of days ago. Tokyo is bustling city with over 30 million people working and living in the city as well as the Greater Tokyo area. The rush hour in the morning is really a sight to behold with the trains packed to the max. Their subways and metro train stations is probably the largest and most complex in the world but with more than 10 million commuters taking the train, it looks like it might not be enough. However the Japanese are quite courteous and discipline as they queue up and take the trains in a organized way without anyone throwing their temper at least not in the public. Anyway I couldn’t imagine myself doing this everyday as I believe there is more to life than just rushing to work and get back home really exhausted and worn out. I like a balanced lifestyle I can enjoy the finer things in life as well as the beautiful surroundings. I had the opportunity to do that when my wife and I went for our Costa Rica honeymoon last year. Life in Costa Rica is nothing like in Japan, the pace here is slower and most people are quite relax and laid back.

Costa Rica being sandwiched by 2 great oceans of the world definitely has a lot to offer when relaxation and escaping from the everyday hustle and bustle of the city. First of all the beaches here are glorious, they come with while, grey or brown sands depending on where you go. The scenery from the beaches is another thing that you shouldn’t miss from stunning sunset to amazing sunrise as well as beautiful blue ocean. The most popular beaches for honeymoons are the ones in Manuel Antonio, Quepos and Jaco which are located in the Punterenas province in the south west side of the country. On the other side of the country is the remotely beautiful Caribbean coast where the Limon province is a favourite place to visit among honeymooners. Another place that you should visit is Montezuma Costa Rica which is located in the boot shaped peninsular called Nicoya. This coastal town has almost everything that you can ask for in a honeymoon. It has a fantastic beach, nature reserves, great restaurants and even a bar that is well known for its happening parties especially on the weekend. In Montezuma Costa Rica, you could just sit back and cast all your care away on the beach or have a soothing massage to take away all the tensions from your body. If you are bored, there are always activities around to fill your time like horseback riding, visit to the nature reserves, surfing at the nearby towns, snorkeling, scuba  dive and kayaking at Tortuga Island which is not far away from here. Now that is what I call life. Right now I am checking out if there is any job opportunities in Costa Rica including contract ones so that my wife and I can move there for longer period of time.
